About Us

We offer business advisory services and capacity development in the fast growing EA market. We champion efforts that support market based solutions for inclusive and sustainable economic development.
We do this by bridging gaps between the local operational approaches and best practices of leading fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) multinationals.  Our approach incorporates key sustainability, inclusion and technology themes. Our work cuts across various sectors including; Agriculture, Climate and energy and Fast Moving Consumer Goods FMCG).

What We Do?

Africa Instore Solutions specializes in sales management advisory and enterprise development (ED). We work with local entrepreneurs and communities to improve economic livelihoods. We seek to support our clients in the implementation of viable inclusive business models, market based solutions, and inclusive entrepreneurial development services.
We do this by designing and implementing impactful and effective and programs that support the growth of enterprises. These programs are delivered through advisory, capacity development to micro, me so and macro level actors.

Jennifer Githinji is the lead consultant of AIS. Jennifer founded AIS after a successful career in sales and marketing spanning over 10 years with leading FMCG brands including Coca-Cola and Colgate Palmolive.
In the course of her rich career, Jennifer gained an in-depth understanding of the FMCG retail space including developing winning sales teams, positioning new products in the market, and establishing effective route to market structures. Jennifer served as the nominated champion of the Eastern Africa Commercial Business Process for Colgate Palmolive. She was also the nominated Colgate trainer and delivered impactful training programs and workshops across East Africa.
Jennifer is also very passionate about gender. She actively champions gender mainstreaming efforts that seek to include the voices of women and youth and their active participation in economic development. Jennifer has an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and an international Business degree from USIU – Africa. Jennifer is a regular guest speaker at the School of Business at Strathmore University and also serves as a Board Member of Karura Community Center – a Non-profit organization in Kenya.
